In 2007 Bill gave his final ever interview to Borders Rugby Radio's Stuart Cameron. Stuart took him back to his childhood days when an illness nearly ended his life. They talked about the War years and his horrific experiences in Italy before getting on to his favourite subject, Rugby Union.
