Hawick Rugby Heritage Survey - win a signed jersey by Stuart Hogg
The chance to win a rugby jersey signed by Stuart Hogg is part of a prize draw for people completing an online survey investigating options for preserving and displaying over 20,000 items of rugby memorabilia belonging to the Hawick Rugby Club and the Bill McLaren Foundation. The survey, being run by consultants Alan Jones Associates, can be accessed throughout February via:
Alan Jones, the lead consultant, said, “this collection of rugby memorabilia is of local, national and international significance and comprises thousands of artefacts, including a collection of international caps dating from 1896, international jerseys, souvenirs from British Lions tours, one of the largest collections in Scotland of club and international programmes, autographed balls, hundreds of rugby photographs, trophies, Bill McLaren’s extensive annotated research material, his big sheets, videos, commentaries and a lot more."
The online survey is part of a community consultation exercise being carried out in the £12,500 feasibility study and options appraisal funded by SSE and Clyde Valley Wind Farms Ltd.
